Guild Show

I can't believe how fast time goes by. I want to thank the Cross Roads Quilt Guild for inviting me to come to their guild. They sure know how to make a girl feel welcome. If you ever get a chance to visit them you will have a great time.

Guild Show

It has been a busy week. Getting ready to go to Crossroads Quilt Guild in Perry Ga. to do a trunk show on Thursday. Quilts are down and ready to be loaded. Really looking forward to seeing friends new and old. Saturday looking forward to going to Wild Child in Watkinsville to do a painted quilt class. I always learn so much. Painted Quilts from Brown Sugar Quilt Guild

All I can say is WOW!!!!!! This was a great class. It was so good to be with these creative women. I was so inspired by them I wanted to run home and do some painting my self. Of course that was not the way it worked out. Some how I ended up taking a nap. That was pretty good. I want to say thank you to all my friends for taking the class. I had a great time.

Brown Sugar Quilt Guild Class

Getting ready to go to Brown Sugar Quilt Guild to teach Painted Quilt class. I'm so excited to see what they do with the paint sticks. They are such a creative group. We will be painting the star. I know we will have fun and a lot of laughs. See you May 19th.

Class at Intown

Wow the class was great. Everyone did such a great job. I had a blast getting to spend time with friends. I learned so much. I know I was teaching but I still learned alot from my class. Thank you, I hope to get some pictures of there beatiful leaves.

Class Intown

Looking forward to teaching the leaf class tomorrow at Intown Quilters. This is a great technique and can be used in many ways. I love spending time with old and new friends. I found this leaf  in the yard of one of my friends. I knew it had to become a quilt.

Sewing Expo March 2012

The expo was great. Classes went well and I got to see a lot of my friends. Sadly that is the only time I get to catch up with them. Here are pictures of the booth and some other quilts hanging around.

It's cold outside !!!!!!!

I want spring to come back. Today is a good day to get to play with my quilts. Deciding which ones will go to the Lake Oconee quilt show and which ones will go the the Sewing Expo. I can't wait for both shows. Lake Oconee is March 31-April 1. Sewing Expo March 8-10. I will post pictures soon. Stay warm make a quilt.

This is a quilt pattern we did out of two different mediums. The one on the left is made of glass (no I did not make this one) the right is a quilt; of course this one is mine. It amazes me the different look of each piece.
